1. The skyline of Iowa is filling up with windmills

I have been in Iowa all week and windmills are popping up everywhere.

Iowa is the third largest producer of wind energy in the US, just behind California and Texas

And dead wind turbines always creep me out, because I always remember when they were new and full of promise.
