they say it is ok to put in under and around construction/road projects, my question would be, how do the people who have well water feel about such a decision?? Stupid is as stupid does.

LAKE OKEECHOBEE
Lake O's muck too dirty for some uses
A project to help revive struggling Lake Okeechobee has left water managers with a messy disposal problem -- huge mounds of polluted muck.

1. EPA and Public health are more concerned w/infill, development, prop tax than with
public health

I am absolutely mortified that neither city/county/state or federal government has done much of anything to deal with soil contamination from former meth labs.

They basically are sticking their heads in the sand and avoiding the issue. Even DTSC said that lack of protective laws had to do with lobbyists, realtors, investment property owners and assessed values of land.

Our government agencies are mainly concerned with who wiil pay for clean-up cost.

My left foot has chemical burns similar to the walmart flip-flop story (not along strap line, just near toes on one foot) most likely due to the undisclosed meth lab on my property....I went to the clinic, but doc was NOT a dermatologist and I have no money for one, so my foot just continues to burn.....and itch..

what did public health do to notify any future property owners of the former meth lab- NOTHING

2. Cleaning up our effed up environment could be a fulltime job for
all the military of the world, especially since they are one of the (scratch that) especially since they are the largest polluter on the planet.
