Pemex reports pipeline explosion, suspects sabotage

MEXICO CITY (AP) -- Several explosions believed to the result of sabotage ripped apart pipelines for Mexico's state oil monopoly early Monday, the company said. There were no injuries.

The Mexican state oil monopoly Petroleos Mexicanos, or Pemex, issued a statement saying it believed the explosions, which forced the evacuation of 12,000 people, were deliberate.

Pemex said Monday's explosions affected at least five pipelines in Veracruz, but reported no deaths or injuries.

but I'll say here as I did elsewhere, but moreso. It is a way the neocons killed several birds with one stone. It keeps the fear factor high here in the US with reinforcement of their bullshit claims of 'we are protecting you' because it's not happening here that they are probably covering up and it keeps oil and gas prices high. A neocon win win just by sabataging some pipes that they will just turn the valve to off to be fixed. Ain't that amazing and I look forward to more of this crap happening as it gets closer to the time of presidential elections because their election fixes only work to some degree without the backlash of a civil war occuring.
