1. Haven't heard a thing about mine yet.
Put my $99 down on the day they started accepting deposits, but so far nothing.

2. Yeah, I know. That was the reason for the ( ).
But I got an email.

Of course, I also heard from a Nigerian Princess who may make me fabulously wealthy.

4. I hope you check with the city first...
We have a guy who bought one here and he then discovered that it's illegal to drive it.

5. Everything is legal here.
Segways in the street, those cool electric cars, you name it.

Heck, we can even drink alcohol in the open.

9. These are US manufactured, type approved...
...road legal cars, backed by Mercedes Benz USA. Your friend probably bought one of the "grey market" imports that have been hitting our shores in recent years. With them, it was very much up to whim of local government whether it was road legal or not.

6. ARGHHHH!
Congrats!

I have wanted one of those for a few years but since I can't pull my horse trailer with it I am stuck with my pickup ;).

I am so jealous. There is one here in town, bright yellow and I know the woman who drives it. Every time I see her I ask for a ride but we are both always too busy :(.

Enjoy it. Color? :hi:

Oh NO! I just hit the link. You got the roadster! Ohh I am so coming for a visit and a ride.

With black leather.

And the 80-horse engine.

Hopefully, this will stop my jonesing about a Tesla.

12. do you live in a city that allows 'two cars to a parking space'?
Edited on Thu Sep-13-07 01:35 AM by razzleberry
in other words, two cars nose in, in one space?

if not, I fail to see the advantage of this car
