Today the 62nd Session of the UN General Assembly starts in New York. Russia is to present its alternative to other countries’ view on the Kosovo conflict and Iran’s ‘nuclear dossier’.

Srgey Lavrov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, is to represent Russian point of view at the UN Session. His speech is appointed on the 28th of September.

Russia is also for the idea of forming a nuclear power free zone in Near East, what is to assure peace and security in the world.

Russia asks the UN countries not to hurry in taking any decision on Kosovo and it is for continuation the negotiations. Russia can’t agree on the one-side scenario of ‘compulsory independence’.
