SUEZ Energy To Supply City of Dallas with Green Energy

Coming at the heels of an announcement by SUEZ Energy that it is establishing a renewable energy division, last week SUEZ Energy Resources NA, the U.S. retail energy business of SUEZ Energy North America announced that it has won a contract to supply the city of Dallas with approximately 90% of it's electricity, 40% of which will be from renewable energy sources.

SUEZ Energy Resources will provide electricity service to more than 1,900 accounts estimating a peak demand of nearly 150 MW in the Oncor territory. These accounts primarily supply energy to the City's largest usage loads such as office buildings, the convention center, and water utilities, as well as the city's non-demand meters, which include all street and traffic lights.
