I checked and it is not yet mentioned on the IRIS Seismic Monitor. It did knock some books off a table in a bedrooom

days ago. The Algodones fault in our border area is an extension of the San Andreas fault, if that means anything oo you. Somehow, they are all connected and that does not give one a very secure feeling.

12. From what I remember from geology, there are 2 types of quakes - |

the vertical and horizontal. I can't remember which ones are the worst -or if it makes any difference once you get past 7 on the Rickter scale.
