Leveraging the Right to supporting GHG reductions |
|
Ok 20% of the people will always believe that Global Climate Change is a Left Wing conspiracy. But I suggest that they could be leveraged to support GHG reductions when it is packaged as something they do want with a aside that it reduces GHG emissions.
Packaging alternative energy not as required by Climate Change but to get out from under the thumb of Middle East Oil's control?

2. Why not an out-and-out carbon tax? |

And perhaps lower income and sales taxes at the same time to make the carbon tax revenue neutral. In this way the right will have their lower taxes. We'll need the emerging industrial powers to sign on to prevent industries from simply outsourcing their problems.
