This is just scary
It's not like this surprises me but we humans are consuming Earth's resources faster than it can replenish them. What kind of world am I leaving for my kids and their kids? When will people figure out that they cannot just use, consume and throw away? I can't stand these right wing whack jobs that accuse of being tree-loving liberals. According to this report possibly 40% of species will be gone in 30 years. Humans can't be far behind.

1. consuming resources is not a problem
according to the RW, consuming resources and causing species to go extinct does not matter. It will be only a few years before the Second Coming anyway, so saving anything for future generations is pointless.

2. and the world will be happier when we go.
The real question is how screwed up things will be in general.
There won't be another industrial age.

If there are survivors from the deluge... they will think back on the time we lived in and feel incredulity and rage at the things we did.
