What We CAN Do Until Sanity Returns

I'm trying to think of things that enviornmental activists CAN do until enough of the American electorate decides that it has gotten tired of Republican policies.

Those of us who can afford to can give to the nature Cosnervancy, I suppose, or the World Wildlife Fund, or to the Ocean Conservancy.

I suppose that there are outifts providing support for small-scale solar energy projects for both here in the USA and abroad.

It won't be much, but it's what we can do.

Even being the poor college student I am, I still try and give to conservatory charities when I can. I also think that getting together in community involvement is great too. Its great to surround ourselves with others that have the same values, and to get something done that is as simple as cleaning up a beach with a bunch of friends one afternoon can give you such a great sense of pride! Even something so small can make one feel like they've really made a difference. I'm trying to find some fellow Green party members in my area to get together and do as much as we can. I've been using www.meetup.com and it is a site that I really recommend to find locals interested in the same causes. :)
