1. Why would using solar be the death of us? There are many projects |
|
up and working already. No side effect that I have heard of.

I wonder if all those shiny things would help cool the earth by reflecting sunlight like snow?

12. The industrial revolution was supposed to free humans from physical reality |
|
by having access to more external energy. Today, because of the external energy that made that revolution possible, we cry about how that energy is impacting the environment, and how civilization is now facing its greatest threat...from the energy that made modern civilization possible.
So, this time, if we use a different form of energy, in order to free us even further from physical reality, it'll work, with no consequences, right? I mean, it's green. It has what plants crave.

13. OK ... I've got to ask ... |
|
What do you mean by "solarizing"?
The only references I found are 1) Photographic jargon; 2) Degradation of materials exposed to strong UV or X rays; 3) Heat treatment/sterilisation using the sun (on a sealed clear bag).
I would guess that you are going for option #3 but is there another meaning that I should know?
