PBS Nova: Car of the Future, with the Car Talk guys.
It's a repeat, but showing again for a few times again here in California.

Watching it now.

Nova : "Car of the Future"

"Car Talk" hosts Tom and Ray Magliozzi.

1. Was that the show where one of them
jumped all over the GM VP about the 500-horsepower engine in some car? It was insane!

2. Not sure...
I got a phone call and missed a bit.

I'd love to see that scene, though!

This episode visited UC Davis, MIT, Amory Lovins, drove the Tesla, talked about the Volt, and is framed around how one of the brothers wants to rebuild his 1952 MG.

3. I watched part of it last night
One of them corned a Ford rep about the Mustang. "why would you need 500 hp in a car?"
