thought I should trott it out here as well.
I have an idea for a protest. What if, on an appointed day, we all consume as little power as possible? Shut down absolutely everything you can. I like this idea because of the play on power. If a vast number of people do it, it will be noticed. It's easy to do. You don't have to meet up, so everyone can participate. And it meets an worthy objective. What do you think?

the computer power use in another way. The understanding will be to take it as far as you safely can. I have to heat the house or my wife will leave me...hmmmm... I wonder if she'd take the kids.
