Has anyone else here read "Under A Green Sky" by Peter Ward? |
|
A coworker of mine saw me reading it and asked me if I was depressed yet. I said no, why would I be? She told me to keep reading.
She wasn't wrong :-( The last chapter was an eye-opener for sure. And I can't get the thought of anoxic, Canfield oceans out of my head.

2. A number of us here have read it |
|
I have, and it gave me the same sense of dread and foreboding. Many of the things we worry about here are not planet-busters. Canfield oceans are.

3. I read it. It made me ill. |

I'm still waiting for my tsunami nightmare to come true, where the huge chunk of ice breaks off the icecap and sea levels rise by a few inches globally all at once. :(
