Molecule Harvests Water's Hydrogen
Researchers at Virginia Polytechnic and State University have developed large molecule, or supramolecular complex, that could be used to produce hydrogen energy for fuel cells and combustion engines. The research could lead to catalysts that use sunlight more efficiently in extracting hydrogen from water. The supramolecular complex comes from more than a decade of work.

Extracting hydrogen from water with sunlight as the energy input suddenly makes hydrogen much more useful as an energy transfer medium.

3. I can't find it under your link
Did it mention the efficiency (in terms of wattage from sunlight) vs. plain old electrolysis?

4. Just Watch Some Energy Combine Buy the Patent And
Just watch some energy company with most of its assets in petroleum buy the patent, then sit on the process so nobody can use it for the next three decades.
