Australian MP Denies Any Warming, Invokes Hitler, Einstein & Own Expertise As Ceramics Physicist
An opposition MP says humans are not causing climate change, and pointed to Adolf Hitler as an example of how scientists can be wrong.

Liberal MP Dennis Jensen's comments come days after his leader Malcolm Turnbull promised a greener climate change policy than the government's.

Dr Jensen cast doubt on the apparent scientific consensus that humans are affecting the climate. "Albert Einstein was very much criticised by Hitler, and Hitler actually had a group of 100 top scientists in Germany write a book called 100 scientists against Einstein," Dr Jensen told reporters in Canberra. "Einstein was asked: `Doesn't it bother you Dr Einstein that you've got so many scientists against you?' "And he said: `It doesn't take 100 scientists to prove me wrong, it takes a single fact'."

Dr Jensen, who has a PhD in the physics of ceramics, said he was a climate change sceptic. (1)

9. Yeah, we sure do
We also, as a congressional group, have a bunch who never knew how to act like a minority party until they were in the majority. It is so hard, when I know we're correct philosophically, to watch our "team" be so damn inept.

7. I was afraid of that.
I kinda hoped he was going to state that scientists thought no one as evil as Hitler could exist, let alone rise to power.

10. Why do these guys so seldom mention HARD DATA?
Edited on Thu Feb-26-09 11:33 AM by tom_paine
Why do they so seldom able to seem to be able to scientifically consider a question.

Hitler's Scientisists, making their claim likely under pressure of a totalitarian state with a racial agenda, is even close to the same as various scientists, unpressured by a totalitarian state racial agenda, come to an independant conclusion?

:silly:

Oh, that's right. I forgot, according the deniers the Global Climatological Community IS a Nazi-Like Totalitarian Community with a political agenda, and vast pressures to apply - although I have yet to see a Climate Denier arrested and executed for their beliefs.

Not just comparing apples and oranges and saying they're the same, but comparing apples to hand grenades and saying they're the same.

Nusties. Not-Sees.
