Draw a line from (roughly) 10 o'clock to 4 o'clock, and you can split the cap into a shattered zone and a solid zone.

Relative terms, of course, given that much of the jumbled section of the sea ice ranges from 20% to 90% concentrations, but striking nonetheless.

The degree of pullback to the north from the Beaufort and E. Siberian sectors is quite interesting as well.
