"The Iranian government announced last week that 8.8 billion barrels of oil had been found in deeper layers in Iran’s Sousangerd oilfield. Given the recent deterioration in relations between Tehran and other governments, it may be difficult for Iran to find outside help to exploit this discovery."
If there one thing militaries can't function without its oil. The Chinese will buy in : their reserves in April stood at US$1.2 Trillion.

2. Yeah I saw that. I have also heard that discovery was way overblown |

that it maybe more along the lings of 3 billion barrels.
What I also find interesting, from the various things that I have read, they don't say what kind of oil it is, which makes me think it's sour crude.
The world already has plenty of that.
