SolarAttic Solar Pool Heater Vs. Pool Heat Pumps
VIDEO
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Mf5Ykc34yQ&feature=related

SolarAttic's "Conservation Technology" is now projected to eliminate 586 million barrels of imported oil annually exceeding ANWR estimates. View our simple calculations on how our conservation technology can do this. SolarAttic developed its first solar pool heater in 1986 based on recovering wasted attic heat energy. Most swimming pool owners have a home with a hot attic that can be used to heat their swimming pool for $15/month or less. The solar heat energy found within the roof and attic structure is derived from the sun's solar radiation. Over twenty years of field experience with its patented new solar technology has taught Solar Attic that its solar pool heater performed on par with roof mounted solar pool heater panels. Many solar pool heater benefits are now available to swimming pool owners without the need to use roof mount panels. The problems associated with traditional solar pool heaters using solar panels are avoided by using Solar Attic's new attic solar pool heater. Tell-A-Friend about SolarAttic's technologies..

1. Coils of black garden hose, left out on the pool deck, or put on a roof
(Circulate pool water through them.)

People have been using this method for 30 years or more.

It's not terribly efficient, but it's effective and pretty low tech.

2. Solar Energy has EXCLUSIVELY Been for People Who Can Afford Pools.
Thank you for validating exactly what I have consistently said for decades.

It's for distractable wealthy people in denial who think that the real issue facing humanity is heated swimming pools.

The life of patents is, um, 17 years and during the patent life of the "patented technology," from 1986-2003 a few hundred billion metric tons of carbon dioxide were indiscriminately dumped into earth's atmosphere.

I guess the swimming pools of the distrable set weren't so damned important as apparently solar swimming pool owners thought they were.

Heckuva job.

4. You think so?
Solar power is for every one and its free.

Each VILLAGER SUN OVEN®, when utilized as a Sun Bakery, can save over 150 tons of wood annually which results in the reduction of 277 tons of CO2 green house gas emissions annually. Preserving forests and reducing the stain on the worlds environment.

UNIQUE BUT HIGHLY EFFECTIVE
The VILLAGER SUN OVEN® is the only manufactured commercial solar oven in the world. Over 1,200 meals a day can be cooked or hundreds of loaves of bread can be baked powered by the sun. Ovens are growing in popularity and are currently used in more than 40 deforested counties in a variety of applications:

Solar water pumps are our business. Our people care!

Since 1986 Robison Solar has manufactured and distributed solar powered water pumps and solar powered well pump kits at prices well below the rest.

People world wide have depended on our systems to pump water for livestock, wildlife, homes and cabins, and small irrigation.

Whether in congested cities, small towns or on rural and remote roadways, K&K SYSTEMS' HAZARD FLASHERS are used to help warn vehicular traffic to possible hazardous areas or intersections ahead. Pedestrian crosswalks, school zones, fire stations, hospital zones and speed zones are just a few of the many applications where solar stationary flashing beacons will enhance the visibility of roadway signage. In the past, stationary stop sign beacons were powered by utility grid power. In areas where power was not available or too expensive to install, traffic engineers have learned that solar power can be a great benefit in providing a reliable power source with no monthly power bill. The Model 110 is designed with double 8" yellow/amber LED that is visible by motorists up to ¼ mile when flashing.

3. I Think The Real
lesson to be learned here is the possibility of using existing heat to a benefit. For example, if we could capture the a large percentage of the heat lost in a home and redirect it back into the home it would reduce energy use. If something as simple as refrigerators had a space designed with a simple fan (low energy use model and pretty cheap) that directed the heat generated by the compressor back into the living space during the winter and directed it into a vent to the outside during the summer we should have a net gain in energy savings. In the dead of winter, the space around my refrigerator is warmer than the area even three feet from the appliance, I would like to get that heat into the rest of the room. It will take many small measures to solve our energy problems. Conserving what we already have is cheaper than creating new. If I had enough money to have a pool and worry about heating it I would probably give more to the local food pantry and forget about the pool, but hey that's just me.
