Salazar must go!
How much longer are we going to be plauged by industry hacks and their supporters. I would like to see President Obama fire this guy and replace him with someone concerned about the American people and the environment.

4. Housecleaning needed, top to bottom....
Ken Salazar has had since January 20, 2009 to clean up known problems. It was reported in 2006 that MMS employees were sleeping with Big Oil whores and snorting Big Oil crystal meth. THOSE PEOPLE ARE STILL ISSUING PERMITS. The corruption is complete.

'nuff said.

5. What has he done so far? I honestly don't know. I know that the
Investigators report that was recently released referenced people who were at the MMS during the Shrub years. Are they still there? I have no idea, and I'd bet you don't either! When people get fired in some obscure agency never make the news. I know it alke quite a bit of time to reform an ageny and before I find out that Salazar has just gone along with the crimina activity, I willnot condem him.

10. What has he done so far? Made war on wild horses, wolves, and polar bears.
He has consistently chosen to harm wildlife and the environment in any way that aids the oil industry and big ranchers. He's worse than his Republican predecessors on issues of wildlife and the environment, and that's not an easy line to cross.

8. Salazar - questions I want answered
It was reported back in Bush adm. the scandals about the MMS. I have not heard the question asked by anyone, (although Ed schultz, Rachel, and others, even the Congress, came close) but never got down to the nitty gritty about the people in that department during the Obama administration. When Ken Salazar came on board at Interior, did he remove ANY of those people associated with the scandalous behavior and enabling inspection programs???? What ethics changes did he enforce???? I want to know how many and who of the Bush crew are still there. I have NOT been impressed with him. His answers are vague and without energy. He should be replaced with someone who has the nation's interests at heart eventually, and the whole department flushed. What did Obama require of him when he was appointed? Just continue as usual?? Lots of incidents concerning the MMS have been described, but the dates of when they happened are never noted.

9. Committee hearing today
He gave some pretty waffly responses today in the Natural Resources Committee hearing on the oil spill. These guys need to really start playing hard ball with BP - they may be talking tough behind closed doors, but you'd never know by outward appearance.

12. The other day I heard Robert Redford praising Salazar.
To hear Redford compliment him blew me away. I think maybe it was on Olbermann.
