looking for the most convincing data on global warming |
|
I'm not overly informed as to actual models and studies performed on this. I'm looking for ammo to use against someone that says "no scientist will look you in the eye and say global warming exists".
looking to refute the following claims
1. it doesn't exist at all, it's part of the cyclical nature of the ecosystem and it happens on a regular timeframe.
"Just because it snows a lot several years ago, and it doesn't now, doesn't mean jack. The other day, a record was set for the coldest day. The record was made in 1928. It broke it yesterday. The all time low was no more than 2 degrees below.
I am not an extremist in any way, but I am an environmentalist, and I don't think Global Warming is nearly as bad as it is made out to be by activist groups. "
those two points are really what i'm looking to shoot holes in.
thanks!!

They have excellent information on global warming. Here is the link: http://www.ucsusa.org/global_environment/global_warming/index.cfmParticularly useful are their Fact vs Fiction on Global Warming and their Global Warming FAQ. --Peter EDIT: Typo in subject line
