Methane from human waste
Here's a video that shows how a Brazilian architect turns sewage into methane. Nothing high tech about it. I wonder if anyone is doing it here.

1. Some dairy farmers
Cows are notorious for their high-methane flatulence. At some progressive dairy farms, this methane is captured and used to generate electricity to light the dairy barns.

3. From Wikipedia...
The combustion of 1 methane molecule produces 1 CO2 and 2 H2O molecules. Since methane is 72 times more potent a greenhouse gas short term (under 20 years) and 25 times more potent long term (100 years) than CO2, it makes sense to capture and burn it at source rather than letting it waft freely into the atmosphere. It's still putting GH gasses into the atmosphere, but at least it's less harmful overall and producing a beneficial product as well (electricity).

6. Can I run a pipe up your butt to harvest it?
Some people like the experience but I make no guarantees.
