Billionaires Battle in California Energy Fight
Liberal billionaires take on conservative billionaires in Prop 23 fight.

California's Proposition 23 has become one of the most controversial issues of this U.S. election cycle, pitting fossil fuels versus renewable energy, and conservatives against liberals.

Much has been written of the funding given by the fossil fuel industry in support of Prop 23. Charles and David Koch, the owners of the country's largest privately-held oil company (Koch Industries) have helped spearhead support of the legislation by donating $1 million to the campaign.

Less ink, however, has been given to the billionaires fighting against the proposition.
