I may have to (for my sanity and happiness) give up on reading political blogs, listening to pundits, and reading The Nation. I may become a knucklehead uninformed citizen. What influence have I really had? Not much. Too depressing. I need some more fulfilling hobbies (such as learning to pickle okra!) Thanks for that amusing and interesting entry. By the way, I thought pickling required vinegar! Shows what I know.

fried, pickled, boiled or steamed, stired in stews or anything else you might like to try. :-) Republicons now that is a whole 'nuther issue. I's hates them with a passion
