United States: Cancun Agreement Fundamentally Consistent With Our Objectives [Video]
The Cancun Agreement has been considered by some as a small step toward progress, and others as a complete failure. Yesterday, Todd Stern, the U.S. Special Envoy for Climate Change, said the Agreement fits the country's objectives.

United States Special Envoy for Climate Change Todd Stern held a press conference yesterday to brief the country and the world on the success' of the Climate Change Conference in Cancun.

Stern's statement began with a declaration that the parties attending the conference had "largely achieved" the goal of reaching new agreements "advancing our collective efforts" to meet the challenge of climate change. In spite of what Stern called a "number of quite difficult challenges" and thanks to a "really outstanding Mexican team" the U.S. is pleased with Cancun agreement.
