Will legislature clear way for new coal, nuclear plants? (Minnesota GOP)

The new state Legislature, which is sworn in today, may try to scrap Minnesota's ban on new coal and nuclear plants, clearing the way for new construction.

Denny McNamara, R-Hastings, will chair the House Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources Committee and favors lifting both bans.
