Come and Get It. $3.00/Watt Incentives for Small Wind Generators (California only)
Not news really, but haven't seen it posted. Offer expires in April, 2011.

$3.00/watt nameplate rating, up to 10kW, $1.50 beyond 10kW, must be grid-tied

More information here: http://www.consumerenergycenter.org/erprebate/

List of eligible small wind turbines here: http://www.consumerenergycenter.org/cgi-bin/eligible_smallwind.cgi

I'm installing 6-1,600 watt units at my home and coordinating a number of other installations. ($28,000 incentive)

3 bucks/watt, damn I wish it was available for PV modules.

2. It was $2.50 for residential in the beginning, IIRC, and $3.25 for commercial.
With decreasing rebates step by step to encourage early adopters.

And now all the capacity is accounted for in PG&E territory, where my organization just missed out on considerable funds for a 444 kW solar shaded parking structure we're shopping around right now.

Ah well, good while it lasted!

:P
