Fukushima 1 - Fuel rods exposed.
According to the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (NISA), the level of water to cool the nuclear reactor at Unit 1 of the Fukushima 1 Nuclear Power Plant has declined. As of 11:20 AM, a part of the "fuel assembly" of fuel rods is now exposed above water. The maximum exposure as of now is about 90 cm. If the fuel rods remain exposed, they will be damaged, releasing radioactivity. That's the danger that is threatening the plant, according to NISA. So, about 27,000 liters of water, including the water that has been stored for firefighting, is now being pumped into the reactor, via makeshift pumps and other means, in order to raise the water level.

2. The radioactivity detected in the control room was probably a hint
Assuming this is the same unit that they were talking about.

Some minor fuel rod damage would be a likely culprit.

3. The English version of the TEPCO release reports one serious injury
Edited on Sat Mar-12-11 12:37 AM by NNadir
It's, um, not a nuclear injury, but a serious injury from a fire at one of their gas facilities.

Therefore the injury is not of interest.

A column of Butane Butylene storage tank was broken. Fire occured due to
gas leakage. One person suffered serious-injury, 2 persons sufferd minor
injury.

4. Thanks for the information, but changing the subject does not change the reality.

5. Yeah, let's not change the subject to actual injruies and death. It's much
better to talk about the nuclear issue, which thus far, has not had ONE confirmed injury.

You had something to say about reality?.

Um no?

Ok then.
