4. Some information from NHK TV. |

It was stated that US cargo vessels, SDF refueling vessels and US pump systems may be used to pump fresh water into the reactors.
My guess is that these large capacity vessels would be filled with fresh water somewhere, then moved to Fukushima, where the pump systems would transfer this water ashore.

6. That's one expensive relay system. |
|
But this can only be a delaying tactic, right? What are we delaying? What are we delaying it for?
What's next?

7. Gulp. Umm. So far they've done a thumbs down on entombment |
|
because it's not cooled down.. so I guess it's a matter of cooling it down and wow, that could take a while I suppose.
That's a lot of water. But consider the alternative.
I'd say we're delaying Chernobyl x6

8. Trying to save some of the reactors? |
|
Save in the sense of getting them under some degree of control. This would be 5 and 6, maybe 4. From what I heard tonight, #3 is looking very bad, with leakage from the containment vessel. Sad for the men exposed to the very high radiation there. They were partially shown on NHK TV, walking behind a blue tarp. They seemed to be walking slow and unsteadily.

on the condition that they lose the plant.
Tepco said no. They still were talking saving 5 and 6 today!
Yes, the poor workers. I worked for the Japanese. They do not accept weakness or giving up or having any excuses.
