Latest Fukushima plant video released
http://www3.nhk.or.jp/daily/english/27_26.html
Japan's Defense Ministry has released a new aerial video of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, which shows the damage to the reactors more clearly than previous footage.

The 4-minute edited video released on Sunday is the second aerial footage of the plant to be shown to the public since it was damaged by the March 11th earthquake and tsunami.

1. yellow structure
"The walls of the Number 4 reactor building have collapsed, exposing what appear to be a crane and a ball-shaped yellow structure."

I'm seeing a dome, with a flange and bolts. I'm wondering if that is the reactor? Since it has no fuel in it, the containment plug may have been left off.

3. What a mess!

It will be some time before we learn exactly how bad a mess it is, and it is likely to get worse (as more and more water leaks) before it gets much better.

At least they seem to have avoided the absolute worst scenarios.
