Coolest March since 1994

Remote Sensing Systems has released their satellite measured temperature data for the month
of March 2011 which ended up as the coolest March globally since March of 1994. The actual global temperature anomaly for the lower troposphere last month was negative 0.026 C.

Here in Southern Washington State the whole winter has been cold, I am still using the
gas furnace! And more rain than I can remember. I hate cold rain!!

I will not golf if it is cold AND rainy. And if it is also windy,
just forget it.

6. In my neck of the woods (SoCal) last summer was unusually cool
(until Sep/1st half Oct) which was ghastly hot. But since mid-Oct it has been an unusually cold, windy, and rainy fall/winter.

We thought it was over last week with the sudden onset of 95F+ heat, but now its really cold again. Used the AC last week. Now the heat's back on.
