Flash floods in CA, Dams threatened in MA.... WTF?
The weather channel was crazy last night. Some days it's like the world is going bonkers right before our eyes.

1. In my less than humble opinion, we haven't seen anything yet.
Much worse is coming.

Thank goodness we have hurricane boy flying around on air force one toting generators to power up photo-ops.

2. No doubt. There's something peculiar...
about seeing the thing I've feared for so long actually coming to pass. Do I feel like I've been proven correct? Sort of, except for the bit where we all may be fighting for our lives in a world of chaos. And some unpredictable number of people will lose that fight.

3. I hate being right...
.... when the issue is global climate change. NOT a comfortable victory to contemplate.

Yup, climate is going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better, and the better won't be in my lifetime.

We'll lucky if it happens during the lifetime of our species.

4. MA had 10 days of rain
Fall is often somewhat rainy, but not like this! I wasn't in a flooding spot but many low spots accumulated a lot of water.

There were floods in Boston back in '97 when heavy rains + dropped leaves clogged the storm drain system. I nearly lost my car to flood waters. The Kenmore Sq subway station flooded up to street level in that storm...
