Does your community have a energy plan??
Of course not. This is interesting.. http://transitionculture.org/?p=129

The Kinsale Energy Descent Action Plan is now available on this site as a pdf. file. This plan was produced at Kinsale FEC by myself and the college’s second year students, and was, as far as we know, the first attempt by a community to design an intentionally designed way down from the oil peak.

I know, I know, presenting such a plan to your local community planning committee's would have people wondering what planet you're from. But I suspect that as we get closer to peak oil, more and more communities may be asking this question, but atlas it will be too late..

2. Neat web site. I've into sustainable agriculture, so that was the
first thing I read. Do you have anything to do with the books?

For those interested: neat foods to grow that are unusual:

3. How to feed your family in the upcoming crash.
www.pfaf.org

This site has a list of plants that can be used for food that are not normally raised as food. Any coming crash is going to make a lot of people hungry, no matter what crashes - gas, the dollar, the repub party(I'll take my chances here). Fertilizers come from oil. Most of the food in the stores comes from overseas. Most of the food in the stores is crap. People should start thinking of what it would take to feed their familes in case things get tight.
