Vestas To Open Wind Turbine Plant In China - Reuters

COPENHAGEN - Denmark's Vestas Wind Systems , the world's biggest wind turbine maker, said on Thursday it will establish a factory for the assembly of nacelles and hubs in Tianjin, China.


Establishment of the factory, which will employ around 225 people, will commence as soon as possible and Vestas expects it to deliver the first nacelles and hubs during the first half of 2007, it said in a statement.

And they sell a good chunk of their turbines to China. One of our few exports.
