Shrub talks about alternative fuels EVERY single year in the SOTU. Has
he ever actually done ANYTHING about this issue?

2. Sure he has.

As long as it involves funnelling government money to a large corporation, it gets done.

3. Absolutely, he cuts taxes for big oil and coal to find ways
to prevent it from ever becoming reality.

4. Last time he promised money for hydrogen, the money could only
be given to plants producing hydrogen as a byproduct of producing or using petroleum if I recall properly.

While we're on the subject of things he's talked about, I wonder how that manned mission to Mars is coming along. You know, the mission, to Mars. The one he promised a few years back in his speech. Where we'd go to Mars.

:P

6. Yes, but if we went to Mars, we'd face the threat of Human-Martian hybrids
And we can't have that, now can we?

5. Man Or Monkey Promoting Some Initiative
is generally the kiss of death.

On a serious note, he is absolutely correct. But any proposal that comes from this government will simply promote crony capitalist tranfers of wealth from the people to the rich, his base.

7. I loved his "zero emission coal" initiative.
Cuz CO2? That's not an emission. It doesn't count. Except for the fact that it will kill us all.
