I was pleased to watch the President of the United States in his State of the Union speech address energy and the need for our country to cut back on imports. Laidlaw Energy Group (LLEG) and EcoPower LLC entered into joint venture that will involve the development of two biomass energy projects to be located in the New England power market. The projects will have a combined gross capacity of approximately 40 megawatts (MW), planning start-up in 2007 and 2008.
