Azerbaijani scientist invents earthquake foreteller machine

Azerbaijani scientist Karim Karimov from the Institute of Geology and Geophysics in Baku has invented a machine which, he said, allows to foretell an earthquake at least four or five hours before the earthquake takes place.

Karimov said, he has made the machine on the basis of the knowledge which was used to studying the inner structure of earth previously.He said, the device allows watching magnet waves in the earth.
"We have observed during our researches, that the magnet waves start behaving anxiously or differently from their normal conduct before an earthquake. Moreover the waves guide themselves to one direction.The direction then turns out to be the center of an earthquake," Karimov said.

Azerbaijani scientist said, his device was able to warn of November 24, 2001 earthquake four hours before the earthquake, but his warnings was not taken seriously as the earthquake teller machine did not get an official government approval.
