Apparently, they really mean methanol, not ethanol.

1. PBS really has gotten sorry over the past 6 years
I won't listen to all that many of their programs anymore-

Wonder if they'll give a fair play to the toxics issues?

8. NPR (and PBS) really have become toadies to the GOP.
Republican Toadies - Fascist Bugger Bait - that's NPR (and PBS). Guess they feel it's necessary to stay alive. But what kind of life is it, bending over for the GOP, fornicating with fascists?

3. If you listen, let us know if they mention Olah's work.
I mean George Olah, chemistry Nobel Laureate, and big time promoter of this option.

His stuff is the most exciting new energy technology I have seen in my adult life.

4. Odds are good I'll miss it, so I'm hoping somebody else can report.
But if I can, I'll tune in the kitchen radio.

5. They do mean methanol ... MeOH is simpler to make from coal, gas.
Ethanol is easier to make from agricultural waste/byproducts.

7. Ah, but methanol can be used to make DME.
DME is almost the perfect fuel. It is very difficult to imagine a better fuel.
