thoughts from you wanted, about

how the quake in indonesia will affect current efforts to contain the troubling endemic outbreaks of birdflu.

Will the lame government there get lame-er, making birdflu more likely?

Will natives, desperate for food, eat the chickens and reduce the threat of catching anything from the absent birds?

PS if you have time, read my idea on using our oceans as barriers to prevent even one person in the two americas.. north and south.. from getting sick

2. migrating birds no threat, say all, yes all experts

the human mutation of the virus, which will happen in the future,

... is the mutation that will spread the human virus form and kill so many.

migrating birds do not, will not, have that form. Experts forsee the mutation happening like so many others.. in crowded, poor Asia.. not our american chick farms. Some say asian INDUSTRIAL chick farms, some say asian backyard farms that buy from industrial chick farms. But all i have read, specify asia.

the threat to humans will come when the HH mutation happens, and that form will spread exclusively from human travellers.

make travel pause for eighteen months, and not one american will even get sick enough to sneeze once.

But let travellers in, and the official report seees two million of us dead.. A death toll like

TWO KATRINAS A DAY FOR 500 DAYS.

my ocean idea link...

3. migrating birds will bring their form of bird flu, can then mutate here
yes, once it mutates and becomes human-human, then human controls are needed, not bird controls. But don't assume that it will nec mutate elsewhere. Could be in your back yard.
