Hillary Clinton Suddenly Discovers Renewable Energy!
HALFMOON - Sen. Hillary Clinton came to the Capital District Saturday to show her support of renewable and clean energy sources. Dozens of local solar energy workers attended a reception to welcome Clinton to Day Star Technologies, a local solar energy company.

Clinton commended the company's staff for their hard work to help the economy and the environment.
"Our present system of energy is weakening our national security, hurting our pocketbooks, violating our common values, and threatening our children's future," said Clinton, who recently proposed a strategic energy fund, which would reduce spending on foreign oil 50-percent by 2025.

"Right now, instead of national security dictating our energy policy, our failed energy policy dictates our national security."

According to Clinton, even though many renewable energy technologies were created in the United States, they never became popular in our country, so other countries began to utilize the clean energies instead.

1. A few seconds and I found this going back to 2004
Hevesi initiated this study at the request of Senator Hillary Clinton and New Jobs for New York, a not-for-profit organization focused on retaining and attracting new investment and jobs to New York. Hevesi and Senator Clinton participated in a conference sponsored by New Jobs for New York on the State’s renewable energy industry at the Rochester Institute of Technology in February 2004.

6. Whatever
but it's not true and I wouldn't think a DUer would want to post something not true.

Oh well, live and learn

8. I was there to hear her speech
All I can say is this "better late than never". I thought she was very sincere in her beliefs that foreign energy was bad for our security and renewables could be very good for the economy.
