Energy from seaweed.
Tackling two problems with one brilliant and efficient solution. The _first plant_ will open next year.

Every time someone finds a new way to shift any portion of power production away from fossil fuels to a clean, renewable technology, it benefits all of us. Therefore, I do not want to hear about how "fermenting seaweed is not the answer," okay naysayers??

1. Everything is an answer.
Seaweed included, evidently.

But how soon is soon enough? I'm afraid all the new energy sources in the world won't put a dent in the out-of-control warming that is already in full swing.

2. I know.

And I, too, fear that James Lovelock may be right about that. But that does not mean we can stop trying to slow down the process and doing our best to repair the damage we've done. We have to keep trying in the hope that the worst case scenario may be mitigated.
