While they were checking my name, I noticed I was the only Dem on the page. It's rather right-wing around here. Lots of gun totin' redneck arab hatin' oxygen stealers. Paper ballots!
Sorry, I posted in the wrong category and don't know how to fix it.

that sounds like New River! It is slow everywhere! Averaging 12 voters an hour. This is NOT good fore the moderate repus but many told us they are voting for my DH Jim Larson( State Senate D6) in the general! Hmmmm. BTW, we were on Fox News because we were b putting up Dh's signs and Herb Paines and Fox arrives to film John Shadegg going in to vote! We said their should be "equal" time for the Dems. Shadegg is a neighbor and I ,of course am supporting the opposition! But we got in the shot with signs and buttons!

3. Disenfranchisement is alive and well in AZ
I saw in yesterday's Yahoo headlines that a federal judge (a Bush appointee, no doubt) refused to block the new voter ID law for the primaries. Looks like another OHIO in the making.

Republicans not voting, their choices are dismal and the moderates are disgusted but why the heck the Dems don't show up is beyond me. We have a Congressional primary in my district.You think they'd care. Many races are uncontested but still.We also have a primary for Supt. of Schools.
