Indonesia Offers To Host Next Climate Conference In 2007
Sure hope visibility improves from next year's burning season by December 07.

INDONESIA has put itself forward as the host of next year's United Nations conference on climate change.

The meeting will take place between December 3-14 2007. Members of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the parent treaty of the Kyoto Protocol, meet annually.

This year's gathering was a 12-day event that ended in a three-day ministerial-level conference.

It drew around 6000 delegates from government, business, science and grass-roots organisations.
