http://www.solarbuzz.com/News/NewsNAPR711.htm

Atlantis Energy Systems, Inc. (Atlantis) has completed a 592 kilowatt (kW) solar electric system, including a 41.75 kW building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) system at the Center for Water Education in Hemet, California. near Los Angeles. The BIPV system is installed as a canopy over the two front entrances of the building complex and is part of a 550kW solar electric roof top.

The complete solar electric system, including the installation technique, was designed and engineered by Todor Galitev, from NEOptions Inc., project manager at the Center for Water Education (the Center) and a consulting engineer with Atlantis.

The frameless, BIPV, solar canopy laminates were manufactured by Atlantis at its Poughkeepsie, NY site. At this facility, Atlantis owns and operates one of the world's largest glass laminators and is making projects for deployment around the globe.

"We are very happy to be a part of this groundbreaking project," said Frank Pao, CEO of Atlantis Energy Systems. "The commissioning of this project proves Atlantis' technical know-how, equipment capability and design expertise in large glass-glass PV modules," he added.
