New Jersey's use of renewable energy quadruples in the period 1990-2004.
Here in New Jersey we have a brazillion solar roofs bill, and personally, as I live here, I can now point to at least 5 houses in my area that have one of these brazillion solar roofs.

We are going gangbusters here in solar nirvana.

New Jersey's renewable energy share in percentage terms has quadrupled in the period between 1990 to 2004 rising from 0.6% of our electrical energy to 2.4% of our electrical energy.

In New Jersey, the use of fossil fuels in percentage terms has risen from 40.2% in 1990 to 49.6% in 2004. Although we are generating more nuclear energy in absolute terms than we did in 1990, but not as much as we generated in 2002 - when we produced more than 30,000,000 kw-hr of nuclear electricity - the amount of nuclear energy in percentage terms has fallen from 59.5% to 48.5%. This is, of course, explained by the fact that our demand has risen significantly.

We need for Amory Lovins to descend on us from the mountain aerie and explain to us that we do not need or want electricity.
