Alaska Boycott again ?
they're shooting wolves from the air again. Friends of Animals wants the successful boycott to be started up again. It seems to be getting little traction. I have no plans, but if I did , i would cancel, You?

1. I would write the Chamber of Commerce
and let them know I object and would not travel there. Give the CoC a heads up that your pissed about the slaughter.

I've traveled AK on business doing wildlife & fisheries surveys, and it's such a beautiful piece of the planet it is probably hard for people to say no I won't go, because many plan a year or more in advance for their Alaska trips.

It too pisses me off that the only reason for the wolf kill is to get the moose numbers up to cater to the obnoxious hunting crowd. Many that I have met are the big oil money Texas crowd that can spring $5K just for a week of lodging. My favorite encounter was when I was standing on the shore of Lake Iliamna and a Dallas hunter approached me and asked me "When is the 'TIDE' coming in?"
