Pledge To Be A Climate Messenger
http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/298765055?ltl...
(link working now.)

This petition will be sent by me to Mr. Gore in Nashville, TN. at the end of next month to show him the amount of support people have for his work on the climate crisis, and their signatures pledging to help him with it by becoming climate messengers.

There is also no partisan political spin or speculation attached to it. It is open to anyone who cares for our only home and who wishes to help Mr. Gore and others with that effort in this coming year.

Any signatures any of you would like to add sincerely would be appreciated. Also, please feel free to pass it on to others who might be interested in signing this to him.

Thank you.

1. I don't know who signed this "Huge Crap"

But this is the only site I have posted this link on so far. If it was someone from this site, how rude. If you don't like it, just ignore it. So sorry it doesn't have the political speculation and excitement in it that so many seem to thrive on as a prerequisite to caring about anything else. This is a serious petition about THE most serious crisis we now face, and my attempt to have Mr. Gore see the level of real support he has regarding his work on it based on its merits. If that doesn't mean anything to those who only wish to crap on it, then it is you who are part of the problem. At least some of us are out here actually DOING SOMETHING to help with it.

3. Well, it was someone from this site...

And the e-mail address listed for it was skinner@du.com.

So it was nice posting here, but I'm not going to put up with this, especially from the supposed administrator. It is obvious all of these blogs are the same. You don't really care about issues, just about bsing about them.

5. Err, which is more likely...
a) Dave Skinner is not only dumb enough to use his own name, he also forgets his own website address
b) There's another Skinner working at Domain Utilities of Beverly Hills, CA (www.du.com) who lurks here
c) Some chucklenuts from freeperland is jerking your chain

Tricky ;)

6. You don't seriously believe...
...that Skinner, or any legitimate DUer, would have tried to sabotage your petition?? Keep in mind, there are Freeper lurkers here. They don't even have to register to read. If you let them run you off, they've achieved exactly what they want - to sow unrest and break us up. Don't know if you're even still here to read this, but I hope so, and I hope you'll reconsider.

7. That's true, and thanks
To be honest, I hadn't thought of that at the moment and actually should have as they have also crapped on other petitions I have started in the past. My apologies to skinner for jumping the gun. I think I needed the rest for a couple of days anyway. Sometimes all of this can get overwhelming. Thanks.
