3. It's a 10.5 earthquake |
|
and I don't know how anyone is going to want to watch skyscrapers crash to the ground (again). The previews have been making me sick to my stomach.

5. If you LOVE bad movies then 10.5 is for you! |
|
I watched it last night and couldn't believe how stupid it was. Grab a six-pack and call your friends. This movie made me LMAO! It's so bad, it's good.

6. Eye-Candy. Ear Torture. |

Worst. Writing. Ever.
Not just bad ... offensive. And Beau Bridges plays a president who sounds like Reagan and looks like Jeb Bush.
A 9.2 earthquake hits San Francisco, and nobody mentions that there has never been a 9.2 earthquake recorded.
A 10.5 would result in a vertical movement of about a mile.
The disaster scenes have been OK. The dialog is mind-numbingly bad.
Tonight (Monday), Sodom-on-the-Pacific gets hammered. Should be pretty cool, and the vox humana choir music should drown out the dialog.
Trivia Question: Who wrote "Day After Day", a calypso song parodying Jeane Dixon's alleged prediction that California would "fall into the sea" back in 1968?

--bkl Day after day More people come to L-A Shh! Don't tell anybody The whole place is shakin' away!
