Weird Weather - Anyone else experiencing it tonight??

On May 4th in Yuma AZ, the temps should be hovering over the hundred degree mark. It is currently 80 degrees with a steady north wind gusting up to 35 miles per hour like a giant evaporative cooler with the prevailing westerlies blowing over cold Pacific waters.

2. We got two feet of rain in ten hours today, and I saw a hundred floating cars on my way home
But then again, I live in New Orleans, and this happens from time to time.

By 4PM, the pumps had emptied the city (thanks everyone) and the city was dry and tow truck drivers and car detailers were hard at work.

6. Per the stats on the Weather Underground site...
...you are exaggerating what the high should be in early may by about 10 degrees. You should expect 90-ish, so 80 is a nice break from what would otherwise be warm but not outright oppressive.

Enjoy it while you got it because 110+ is just around the corner!!

8. 100 degrees in May for Yuma is normal, but the nites are still cool
because it is a "dry heat". But 80 degrees for a day time high this time of year is way off the mark. Those winds are what is keeping the temps so low.

10. I feel this weather is a sign if global warming. The Arctic ice is melting
right now so things will be cooler but wait until all the ice has melted. I hope I'm still not around!

9. just flipped on the heat here
because it's dreary, cold, damp and dark. Predictions are for 39 as a low on Sunday overnite. We are below average by 15-20 degrees. One weatherman talking about a 'strange occurance for the coast depending on a low developing by Sunday, high winds, potential coastal flooding, flurries in the northern coastal areas?

my lettuce and spinach love it. I'm just happy i have the gas to warm up the house for the next few days.
