World Bank Report - Global Carbon Emissions Up 16% 1990 - 2003: US Up 20%, Japan Up 15%, EU Up 3%
CO2 emissions grew 16% from 1990 to 2003 worldwide, according to the World Bank’s Little Green Data Book, published May 9. The annual reference book lists key environmental and development data for more than 200 countries.

Between 1990 and 2003, CO2 emissions in the U.S. and Japan grew by 20% and 15%, respectively, whereas EU emissions grew by 3%. Total emissions were the same in industrialized and developing countries, but in developing countries emissions originated mainly from agriculture and land-use changes.

2. If our manufacturing
is going overseas why are we seeing increases in the US.
Are companies selling their "US pollution rights" after they send manufacturing overseas to make even more money?
